STYLED BRIDALS | Citrus Inspired with Late Afternoon

This. Inspiration. Shoot. Is. GORGEOUS!!  I’m head over heels in love with this shoot for so so so many reasons.  Three, count them, THREE beautiful gowns! Citrus infusions everywhere (has anyone else ever wanted to be photographed in the middle of a citrus grove? no, just me?).  Also, does Liz from Late Afternoon not remind you of Carrie Mulligan in The Great Gatsby? Hello Daisy Buchanan!  So pretty! That chandelier amongst hanging flowers, the chair on the stone staircase surrounded by candles, blooms and oranges, the gilded doors and tiled fountain… I honestly could go on and on.

Something you lovelies may not know about me is that I pursued wedding photography for a short time.  It took me a year or so to come to the realization that it wasn’t the weddings I actually loved photographing (or being a photographer for that matter), it was imaging the carefully curated style shoots that really set my heart aflutter. It was dreaming of how I would style my own shoots and how I could help couples or brides or whomever share their personality in the most visually stunning way possible. Don’t get me wrong, I still love photography, but in a very different, behind-the-scenes kind of way.

Anyway, enjoy these photographs.  They are lovely.
