PHOTOGRAPHS | The French Riviera

Many artists would travel to the South of France because they said the light was more beautiful there.  Clearly, after looking at these images from Conde Nast Traveller, they were on to something. How charming are these sun-drenched paths and warm streets; all the windows swung open to let in the salty sea breeze and hazy light? If I were a painter, I would undoubtedly be inclined to work here as well.
